Why I Write
Photography captures a single moment. Writing allows me to tell the story behind it.
Many of the most meaningful moments in the field can’t be contained in a single image- the changing landscapes, the encounters with wildlife, the conversations, and the reflections that shape the way I see Florida. Through these essays and articles, I share the experiences behind the photographs and explore the conservation challenges facing the places I document.
